Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across our dealership operations. This energetic leader will oversee all aspects of sales activities, develop strategic plans to our customer base, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for high-end sales, a strong background in Industrial Sales, and excellent communication skills to motivate and support their team. Duties

Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including outbound sales initiatives, cold calling campaigns, and B2B (business-to-business) outreach to market reach.

Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent follow-up and customer engagement.

Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage inventory data, and analyze sales metrics for continuous improvement.

Conduct negotiations with clients, focusing on high-end or luxury product offerings, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability.

Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent customer service, upselling techniques, and personalized communication.

Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Maintain dealership inventory control, retail math accuracy, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Deliver engaging public speaking presentations at events or client meetings to promote products and build brand awareness.

Support the onboarding and training of new sales staff while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication.

Experience

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail sales within the automotive or high-end retail industry.

Demonstrated success in managing a sales team with a focus on automotive or dealership environments.

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals involving high-value products or services.

Familiarity with CRM software platforms used for sales pipeline management and customer relationship tracking.

Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and retail math is highly desirable.

Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases effectively.

Exceptional communication skills—public speaking experience preferred—and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and team members alike.
