Assistant Property Manager

Job Overview:

We seek a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our property management portfolio, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and property performance. Skills and Qualifications

Leadership qualities with high energy and stamina.

Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in property management and accounting using AppFolio In the Atlanta area

A Driver’s license and a reliable method of transportation

Extremely organized, responsible, and detail-oriented, with multitasking and time management abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and AppFolio; knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of local and state landlord-tenant laws and regulations.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

Notary Public license- preferred/Required

GA Real Estate License -preferred

Responsibilities and Key Functions

Assist the property manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations, maintenance and repairs, and budget management

Handle tenant inquiries and complaints, and coordinate with the maintenance vendors for timely resolution of any issues.

Conduct regular property inspections and identify any necessary repairs or improvements

Assist with marketing and leasing efforts to attract and retain tenants

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to property management

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and responding to emails.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on rent payments from tenants and ensure all accounts are up to date and accurate

Assist with the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and screening potential tenants

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property operations and tenant information

Stay current on market trends and make recommendations for rent adjustments or property improvements as needed.

Coordinate move-in and move-out processes for the tenant

Oversee daily property management activities, including accounting, P&L statements, balance sheets, financial reporting, and data analysis.

Generate accounting reports and enter data for proprietary databases, spreadsheets, forms, and other documentation.

Manage and submit invoices from contractors.

Verify that rental application information is submitted by prospective tenants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
