Company Overview

D&D Decorators is a long-standing painting and restoration company serving Georgia’s Golden Isles, including St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick, Darien, and surrounding coastal areas. We have been in business for nearly 40 years and are known for quality workmanship, professional standards, and caring for high-value coastal homes.

We are not a basic painting company, and we do not market ourselves that way. Our work is built around process, preparation, professionalism, and long-term protection for coastal homes. We understand salt air, humidity, sun exposure, historic woodwork, exterior prep, and the details that matter when caring for homes in this area.

Why We Are Hiring

Our marketing and lead-generation efforts have grown, and we need someone experienced, organized, and proactive to help turn marketing activity into qualified opportunities for our sales team.

This is a hands-on marketing and lead-generation role for someone who can be given a goal, understand the plan, execute the work, track the results, and bring smart ideas forward. This person does not need to be a marketing director, but they do need to have real marketing experience and the ability to take ownership of assigned goals.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to make social media posts or design pretty flyers. Creative work may be part of the position, but the real focus is generating qualified leads, tracking where they come from, following through on campaigns, and helping D&D Decorators create more sales opportunities.

This role will have management oversight and clear expectations. The right person should be able to take direction, accept feedback, and stay aligned with company priorities, but they should not need to be closely supervised every step of the way. We are looking for someone who can own their work, manage details, and keep projects moving.

Main Responsibilities

· Track lead sources in Jobber and help ensure inbound leads are entered correctly.

· Monitor marketing-generated leads and help determine which campaigns are producing results.

· Prepare, organize, and coordinate printed marketing materials such as door hangers, postcards, yard signs, leave-behind packets, testimonial cards, neighbor letters, and mailers.

· Organize campaign lists for neighborhoods, customer reactivation, email campaigns, and direct mail.

· Coordinate neighborhood marketing and canvassing support, including materials, lists, follow-up needs, and tracking.

· Work with estimators and the sales team to identify neighborhood opportunities, upcoming project areas, and lead-generation ideas.

· Help create and execute practical marketing campaigns for coastal residential painting and restoration services.

· Keep a central marketing template and materials library organized and current.

· Gather project photos, customer reviews, testimonials, and before-and-after content.

· Assist with email campaigns, customer reactivation letters, local marketing efforts, website content, and social media content when needed.

· Track campaign activity and results so management can see what is working and what needs to change.

· Bring practical ideas to the table and follow through on assigned marketing priorities.

· Experienced in marketing, lead generation, or campaign coordination for a local service business, construction company, painting company, home improvement company, or similar business.

· A self-starter who can take a goal and work toward it without needing constant reminders.

· Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

· Professional in communication, attitude, and accountability.

· Comfortable taking direction and feedback while still owning assigned work.

· Able to come up with ideas, but also practical enough to execute them and track the results.

· Comfortable working with management, office staff, estimators, and sales team members.

· Able to manage multiple campaigns, lists, deadlines, and small details at the same time.

· Interested in learning our company, customers, service areas, and sales process.

Required Skills

· Experience in marketing, lead generation, or campaign coordination.

· Understanding of how to generate leads for a service-based business, preferably in construction, painting, home services, home improvement, or a similar industry.

· Ability to execute marketing campaigns from planning through follow-up and tracking.

· Strong organization and follow-up skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to track details such as lead sources, campaign lists, dates, outcomes, and next steps.

· Working knowledge of common business and marketing tools such as CRM systems, spreadsheets, email platforms, Canva, Meta/Facebook, or similar tools.

· Ability to learn company systems and use them consistently.

· Ability to work in person with our team and support local marketing efforts.

· Professional attitude, ownership mentality, and willingness to grow long term.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with Google Sheets or basic marketing reporting.

· Experience with Canva or simple design tools.

· Experience with Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar email marketing platforms.

· Experience with SEO and understanding of how websites and landing pages work

· Experience with Meta/Facebook, local advertising, or business social media pages.

· Experience with direct mail, door hangers, postcards, yard signs, neighborhood campaigns, or customer reactivation campaigns.

· Experience gathering reviews, testimonials, customer stories, and project photos.

· Knowledge of the Golden Isles area is a plus.

Schedule and Benefits

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This is an in-person position supporting a local service business.

D&D Decorators does not currently offer medical, dental, or health insurance.

Eligible full-time employees may qualify for company benefits according to company policy, including paid holidays, vacation eligibility, and Simple IRA retirement plan eligibility with company match after the first year.

This position also offers a steady schedule, performance-based bonus opportunity, hands-on experience in local marketing and lead generation, and room to grow with a long-standing company.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
