Dispatch Operations Manager
About the role
IT'S NOT JUST OUR JOB… IT'S OUR PASSION
That statement is more than a tagline. It is the foundation of our company and one of the primary reasons Passion Plumbing exists.
Passion Plumbing is the new name of a residential service company that has proudly served North Dallas homeowners since 2018. While the name is changing in a rebrand, our leadership, standards, reputation, and commitment to excellence remain firmly in place.
The word "Passion" was chosen intentionally because we believe the best people genuinely love what they do. They take pride in mastering their responsibilities, enjoy solving difficult problems, care about the small details, continuously work to improve, and hold themselves to a higher standard even when nobody is watching.
For those select few, work is more than a paycheck. It is a profession, a responsibility, a commitment, and ultimately a passion. If you are simply looking for a desk, a pay check, and someone to tell you what to do next, this probably is not the place for you.
WE ARE A DIFFERENT TYPE OF COMPANY BECAUSE
We are building a small team of professionals who pursue excellence, embrace accountability, communicate openly, and take pride and ownership in their work.
We believe that iron sharpens iron and that excellence is contagious. We expect our team members to challenge each other, learn continuously, share knowledge freely, and push one another toward their maximum potential.
The standard here is intentionally high. Some people find that exciting. Others find it exhausting. Not everyone succeeds here, not necessarily by design, but through natural selection. High performers tend to thrive in environments built around accountability, ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement.
THIS IS NOT A PASSIVE OFFICE POSITION
The Office Operations & Dispatch Manager serves as the operational nerve center of the company. This position requires intelligence, sound judgment, organization, prioritization, decision-making ability, and the capacity to remain calm and methodical while managing multiple competing priorities throughout the day.
Dispatch is not simply moving calls around a board. Every scheduling decision impacts customer experience, technician productivity, revenue generation, profitability, and team morale. The right decision creates momentum. The wrong decision creates chaos.
The office does not exist to support operations...
This role is responsible for owning daily dispatch operations while managing core office and administrative functions. The objective is to create a controlled, organized, efficient, and accountable operation that improves technician productivity, customer experience, and overall business performance.
We are not looking for someone who simply answers phones, processes paperwork, and reacts to problems. We are looking for someone who anticipates problems, solves problems, builds systems, develops people, creates accountability, and continuously improves the operation.
Other key traits required at a HIGH LEVEL for this role are:
Ability to work in a team but also lead & manage teams
Ability to multitask and properly prioritize competing demands
Superior organization and workflow talents
Process oriented with ability to develop & implement new processes
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to create and analyze reports
THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
We are a Marine Corps veteran-owned company that is run by a Worship Pastor for a Cowboy Church. So needless to say, we love America, what it stands for, and the opportunities it provides to those willing to work for them. We are unapologetically Christian in our values and unapologetically committed to personal responsibility, accountability, and individual ownership.
Therefore, certain character traits are fundamentally incompatible with our culture and standards. Therefore, if you possess any of the traits below, it is best that you NOT apply so that we don’t waste each other’s time:
Require constant supervision
Resist collaboration or constructive feedback
Look for shortcuts and make excuses
Settle for "good" or mediocrity
Consistently choose the easiest path forward
Complain or gossip about your peers or subordinates
Lack drive, initiative, urgency, or attention to detail
Struggle with organization and follow-through
YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR THIS JOB IF
The reality is simple. To be successful here, you are either already operating at a high level and looking to become even better -OR- you are capable of operating at a much higher level but are currently being held back by your environment.
The people who thrive at Passion Plumbing embrace accountability, value integrity, take ownership, solve problems, communicate clearly, lead by example, and continuously push themselves to improve.
If you enjoy creating order from chaos, developing people, building systems, solving problems, and driving performance, we would like to talk.
If you want to surround yourself with like-minded professionals who challenge one another, share knowledge freely, push each other to improve, and refuse to accept mediocrity as the standard, we would like to talk.
If you take pride in leadership, organization, communication, and execution, then you may be exactly the type of person we are looking for.
