Position Overview
New United Innovation is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team. The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to drive operational excellence, organizational growth, strategic execution, and cross-functional alignment across the company.
This role requires a highly accomplished executive with extensive leadership experience, including a proven track record of scaling organizations, building high-performance teams, implementing operational systems, and executing complex business strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, systems-thinking capabilities, and the ability to transform innovative concepts into scalable and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute the company's long-term vision and growth strategy.
Translate strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
Drive organizational alignment across all departments and business functions.
Participate in executive decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Operational Excellence
Design, implement, and optimize company-wide operational systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
Improve efficiency, scalability, and operational performance across business units.
Oversee operational risk management and compliance initiatives.
Organizational Development
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing executive and management teams.
Develop leadership development and succession planning programs.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and execution.
Support employee engagement and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Financial & Business Performance
Collaborate with leadership teams on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Monitor operational performance and business objectives.
Drive sustainable growth initiatives and operational improvements.
Support strategic partnerships, business development efforts, and growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate execution across technology, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and business development teams.
Ensure effective communication and alignment across departments.
Lead enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives.
Technology & Infrastructure Initiatives
Support the development and implementation of technology-enabled operational systems.
Contribute to initiatives involving digital infrastructure, operational efficiency, and emerging technologies.
Evaluate strategic growth opportunities and innovative business models that align with company objectives.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience.
Minimum 7 years in a COO, President, General Manager, EVP, or equivalent senior leadership role.
Proven track record of scaling organizations and leading cross-functional teams.
Experience managing significant budgets and operational performance initiatives.
Demonstrated success implementing operational systems and organizational processes.
Strong strategic planning, organizational leadership, and execution capabilities.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Preferred
MBA or other advanced business degree.
Experience in AI, technology, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, cloud computing, or related industries.
Startup or high-growth company experience.
Experience working with investors, executive leadership teams, and strategic partners.
Experience with corporate development, business integration, or growth strategy initiatives.
