Location: Pender, NE 68047 Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year + Performance Bonus Schedule: Full-Time | 4.5-Day Workweek (Half-Day Fridays)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team specializing in Municipal Water, Wastewater, and Aquatic Facility Construction Projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who excels in estimating, project planning, client management, and delivering successful projects from bid through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate project cost estimates, budgets, and revenue forecasts.
Lead estimating efforts and ensure a seamless bid-to-build transition.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and execution plans.
Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet project deadlines.
Manage project profitability, costs, and financial reporting.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Maintain estimating and project management databases.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Qualifications Required:
15+ years of construction industry experience.
5+ years of estimating experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and estimating practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office Suite
Construction scheduling software
Estimating software
Bluebeam Revu
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred:
Construction Management, Engineering, or related industry degree.
Experience with municipal water, wastewater, or aquatic facility projects.
