Human Resources Director

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational goals and promote a positive work environment.

Lead talent acquisition efforts by designing effective sourcing strategies, overseeing recruiting processes, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.

Oversee employee onboarding, orientation programs, and ongoing training & development initiatives to foster continuous growth.

Manage performance management systems, employee evaluations, and succession planning processes to support career development and organizational stability.

Ensure compliance with employment laws including FMLA, OSHA, workers' compensation regulations, and other labor standards across all operations.

Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, payroll processing (Paychex, ADP, Paylocity), and human capital management systems like UltiPro or Ceridian.

Handle employee relations issues through effective conflict management, negotiation skills, and proactive communication strategies while fostering a respectful workplace culture.

Lead HR program management efforts focused on process improvement, change management initiatives, and organizational design to optimize efficiency.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation procedures.

Proven experience in talent acquisition, sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and onboarding processes.

Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead HR teams effectively while managing multiple priorities.

Expertise in HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro or Ceridian for data collection and analysis.

Excellent negotiation skills paired with presentation skills for communicating HR policies and initiatives clearly across all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in managing benefits administration programs like Paychex or ADP along with payroll systems such as Kronos or Paylocity.

Ability to develop strategic plans for human capital management including succession planning and organizational design.

Skilled in conflict resolution techniques, change management processes, and process improvement methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
