Blue Steele is seeking a Construction Recruiter (Bilingual Spanish Required) to lead recruiting efforts throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

This is not a traditional desk recruiter position.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the community, building relationships, attending hiring events, networking with workforce partners, and creating talent pipelines that support commercial construction and skilled trades projects.

The ideal candidate understands that successful recruiting happens beyond job boards. They are comfortable building partnerships, generating referrals, and becoming a trusted resource within their local market.

What You'll Do

Recruit skilled trades and construction professionals for commercial and industrial projects

Develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates in a competitive labor market

Build relationships with workforce centers, trade schools, community organizations, and referral partners

Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach programs

Generate candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, social media, and field recruiting

Conduct candidate interviews, phone screens, and qualification assessments

Coordinate onboarding activities including background checks, drug screens, and new hire paperwork

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process

Visit jobsites, customers, and community partners as needed

Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics

Required Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years of recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, workforce development, or related experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience using job boards, social media, and recruiting tools

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to travel locally throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market

Preferred Qualifications

Construction recruiting experience
