We are seeking a well-rounded Construction Project Manager with strong experience in commercial ground-up and tilt-up construction, along with high-end interior buildouts. This position leads projects from preconstruction through closeout and is based at our Simi Valley office.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $130,000 – $160,000 (DOE)
Up to $160,000+ for exceptional candidates with full experience in ground-up, tilt-up, and airport/regulatory work

ResponsibilitiesGround-Up / Tilt-Up Construction
Manage all phases of commercial ground-up projects
Oversee sitework, grading, utilities, concrete tilt-up panels, structural systems, and MEP integration
Maintain schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and cost controls
Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP engineers
Ensure code compliance, QA/QC, inspections, and safety
Track schedule milestones and subcontractor performance
Commercial Interiors (Retail / Restaurant / Airport)
Lead high-end TI buildouts including finishes, millwork, kitchens, and specialty systems
Oversee work in regulated environments such as airports (TSA/CBP, gates, ops spaces)
Coordinate closely with designers, architects, brand reps, and airport stakeholders
General Project Management
Lead preconstruction estimating, takeoffs, and subcontractor buyouts
Negotiate and execute subcontract agreements
Run OAC and coordination meetings with owners, architects, and consultants
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
Conduct regular site walks for quality and progress verification
Communicate clearly and professionally with all project stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all the following:
10+ years as a Project Manager for a Commercial General Contractor
Hands-on experience delivering ground-up commercial construction
Concrete tilt-up experience required
Strong understanding of commercial construction means & methods
Ability to read plans, perform takeoffs, and write scopes
Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors
Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Full-time in-person role based in Simi Valley (no remote work)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, restaurant, or high-end interior construction
Experience in airport or other highly regulated environments
Experience with Procore
Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects
