WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

This is a unique opportunity for a technically curious candidate to launch their career in a high-impact operational role while building a clear path into Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). As an Analytics Operations Analyst (SRE Track) , you’ll be at the heart of SimCorp’s SaaS platform, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of client analytics workflows. You’ll gain deep exposure to real-time issue triage, client data processing, and platform monitoring, while progressively developing the skills needed to transition into engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The Analyst will be joining a highly productive, entrepreneurial team within a global organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded self-starter to support SimCorp’s Axioma Risk clients as part of the Analytics Operations department. After a comprehensive training program, we expect you to:

Initially:

Oversee client processing, perform initial investigation and resolution of issues where possible, and escalate to second-line support via our Incident process when needed

Work closely with the global Analytics Operations and Managed Services team to provide a seamless round the clock service for our clients (Hong Kong, India, Europe and Americas)

Contribute towards and improve dashboards and alerting capabilities to automate client process monitoring

Liaise with Global teams to follow up on Incidents and drive enhancements to improve system stability and performance

As you grow:

Actively drive requirements for improving batch tracking and monitoring capabilities for various stakeholders

Assist in developing monitoring and automation tools to reduce manual effort

Contribute shifting toward a proactive, SRE-led model focused on platform stability and proactive incident prevention

Help evolve observability and alerting strategies in collaboration with Release Quality Team

Participate in incident post-mortems, root cause analysis and their long-term resolutions

Maintain runbooks and documentation to standardize support workflows

What we value:

We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

Preferred 1-4 years prior experience in similar field with Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering from an accredited institution

Experience monitoring and supporting SaaS technology platform

Familiarity with Cloud technology and terminology is plus

Experience using tools such as Kibana and Grafana

Exposure to Power BI, Excel or SQL for data analysis and review is favourable

Scripting experience with PowerShell/python is beneficial

Proficient in writing and speaking English

Strong quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills, detail oriented

Ability to multi-task and manage cross-departmental projects

Ability to work on a global team spread across multiple locations and time zones
