We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining Android SDKs. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Android, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in building scalable components, improving performance, and driving best practices for Android development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Android SDKs used by external developers and partners.
Build robust, reusable, and modular components with clear documentation.
Integrate with backend APIs, testing frameworks, payment devices and platform services.
Optimize performance, memory management, and battery consumption.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Android OS, device fragmentation, and integration flows.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
Ensure SDK stability, backward compatibility, and versioning best practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release processes for delivery.
Stay updated with latest Android trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5–9 years of hands-on Android development experience.
Experience with API or hardware integrations is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Deep understanding of Android frameworks, Jetpack components, and modern development patterns (MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture).
Solid understanding of:
Android lifecycle & core components
Multithreading (Coroutines, RxJava)
Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
Networking (Retrofit/OkHttp)
Gradle build system
Strong debugging skills using Android Studio tools, ADB, and performance profilers.
Experience with unit testing, instrumentation tests, and automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
