Working Hours: U.S. client business hours (with flexibility for implementation deadlines, go-live support, and client training sessions)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an Implementation Consultant to lead clients through successful software implementation projects from kickoff through post-launch support. This role combines project coordination, business process analysis, system configuration, user training, and client relationship management to ensure seamless adoption of software solutions.
The ideal candidate is both technically capable and highly client-facing — someone who can translate business requirements into system configurations while guiding stakeholders through change management and deployment processes.
You will play a critical role in ensuring clients maximize the value of the platform through efficient onboarding, successful integrations, and long-term adoption support.
ResponsibilitiesClient Implementation & Project Management
Lead end-to-end implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support
Manage implementation timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple client accounts
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
Provide regular progress updates and implementation status reports to clients and leadership
Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
Conduct discovery and requirements gathering sessions with clients
Analyze client workflows, operational needs, and business processes
Translate business requirements into scalable software configurations and implementation plans
Recommend best practices and workflow improvements aligned with platform capabilities
System Configuration & Setup
Configure software platforms based on client specifications and operational requirements
Support system customization and feature setup according to implementation goals
Coordinate with technical and development teams on advanced configuration requests
Ensure systems are optimized for usability, efficiency, and client adoption
Data Migration & Integrations
Support data migration processes including mapping, validation, and import coordination
Assist with third-party system integrations and API coordination where applicable
Validate data integrity and troubleshoot migration or integration issues
Ensure accurate and secure transfer of client data during onboarding
Training & User Enablement
Develop and deliver user training sessions for administrators and end users
Create implementation documentation, onboarding guides, SOPs, and training materials
Conduct live walkthroughs, Q&A sessions, and adoption support
Ensure clients feel confident using the platform post-launch
Testing, Troubleshooting & Support
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
Troubleshoot implementation-related technical and workflow issues
Escalate complex technical concerns to engineering or product teams when necessary
Provide post-implementation optimization recommendations and ongoing support
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, customer success, and support teams
Communicate client feedback and enhancement opportunities internally
Ensure implementation processes remain scalable, repeatable, and client-focused

Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in software implementation, onboarding, technical consulting, or client success
Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based software platforms
Strong understanding of business workflows, operational processes, and system implementation lifecycle
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Experience managing project timelines and stakeholder expectations
Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience supporting data migration and system integration projects
Ideal Experience & Skills
Experience implementing CRM, ERP, HRIS, project management, or operational software platforms
Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation tools
Experience working in B2B SaaS or consulting environments
Exposure to change management and process improvement initiatives
Experience creating onboarding materials, training documentation, or SOPs
Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Monday.com, or Trello
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
An Implementation Consultant’s day revolves around guiding clients through successful software adoption and deployment. You will:
Lead implementation calls and requirements gathering sessions with clients
Configure software environments based on client needs and workflows
Coordinate data migrations and validate integrations
Deliver onboarding and training sessions for client teams
Troubleshoot implementation issues and provide ongoing support
Monitor project timelines and communicate progress updates
Collaborate internally with product and technical teams to resolve blockers
In essence: you ensure clients successfully adopt and utilize software platforms through organized implementations, clear communication, and reliable support.
