About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Engagement Manager to represent Verizon Fios and Verizon Wireless within assigned residential communities throughout Queens. This role combines relationship-building, community engagement, and direct sales to drive customer acquisition and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while building relationships with property management teams, leasing offices, and residents.
Responsibilities
Promote Verizon Fios Internet and Verizon Wireless services within assigned residential communities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with leasing agents, property managers, and community partners.
Conduct community outreach, resident engagement events, and lobby activations.
Follow up on resident referrals and sales opportunities.
Educate customers on Verizon products, pricing, and promotions.
Process sales orders accurately and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects through referrals, events, and relationship development.
Track sales activity and provide regular updates to management.
Travel throughout the assigned Queens territory to visit properties, attend events, and build community partnerships.
Qualifications
Previous sales, customer service, retail, telecommunications, wireless, door-to-door, or field marketing experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face and building relationships.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory daily.
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed.
Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, email, and CRM systems.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to travel between multiple residential communities, leasing offices, and event locations throughout Queens.
Must maintain reliable transportation and appropriate vehicle insurance.
Ability to lift and transport marketing materials, event supplies, and promotional equipment as needed.
Comfortable working outdoors and in various residential community environments.
