Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of our food truck. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, ensure food safety and quality, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an added bonus for the ideal candidate, we would provide an opportunity for profit sharing as well. Opportunity to grow at our bricks and mortar unit.
Duties
Drive and operate a 18 foot Food Truck to predetermined locations.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of food truck staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with Square POS systems.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
Train new employees on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
Collaborate with sales teams to promote menu items and drive sales growth.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Qualifications
Ability to drive/operate a 18’ Food truck
Previous experience in food service or management roles is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
Experience in quick service fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also demonstrating leadership skills.
