This role is designed to support the Demand Generation Manager in executing regional marketing strategies across Spain and Portugal, with a primary focus on event management and supporting content creation and localization. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on event marketing professional who can manage the full event lifecycle while providing tactical content support to ensure our brand resonates with the Iberian market.
Responsibilities:
Event Management (80%)
Take full ownership of organizing regional events across Spain and Portugal, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer events, and partner events
Develop and own a comprehensive event calendar across quarters that communicates timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budget allocations
Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, from venue selection and vendor management to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up
Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective execution while maintaining quality standards
Create comprehensive event strategies that align with business objectives and drive qualified pipeline across both Spanish and Portuguese markets
Coordinate logistics for regional events including travel, accommodations, catering, technology setup, and promotional materials
Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure events support lead generation and customer engagement goals
Manage relationships with local event agencies, venues, and suppliers across Iberia
Develop event measurement frameworks and post-event reporting to demonstrate ROI and optimize future events
Handle event registration systems, attendee communications, and lead capture processes
Organize the annual flagship Iberian customer event, managing all aspects from concept to execution
Content & Localization Support (20%)
Support the regional content calendar by creating event-related content including invitations, landing pages, social media promotions, and follow-up communications
Assist with LinkedIn posting and social media content for event promotion and brand awareness across Spanish and Portuguese markets
Localize event materials, ensuring cultural relevance for both Spanish and Portuguese audiences
Create post-event content including recap videos, case studies, and success stories
Collaborate on adapting global marketing campaigns for Iberian market needs
Support translation and localization workflows for key marketing materials
Assist with basic website content updates related to events and regional messaging
Create promotional events communications to get more leads to the events.
Create and localise follow up content for events (emails).
Open briefs with CRM team related to events campaigns on salesforce.
Project Examples:
Planning and executing annual Iberian customer conference for 200+ attendees
Managing participation in major trade shows in Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon
Organizing quarterly webinar series with local sales teams for both markets
Creating multi-language event landing pages and promotional campaigns
Coordinating customer advisory board meetings across Iberia
Managing partner events and co-marketing activations
Developing region-specific event messaging that resonates with local business culture
Requirements
Experience & Education
3-5+ years of experience in event marketing or event management, preferably in B2B environment
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
Proven track record of managing events from conception to execution, including budget management
Experience working across multiple markets or countries is highly preferred
Language Requirements
Native Spanish speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent Portuguese (written and spoken) to effectively serve the Portuguese market
Fluent English (written and spoken) to collaborate with global teams and adapt content
Proven experience working in bilingual/trilingual environments
Cultural understanding of both Spanish and Portuguese business practices and market nuances
Technical Skills
Experience with webinar platforms (Splash, ON24, Teams, WebEx)
Familiarity with CRM systems (salesforce is a plus) for lead capture and follow-up processes
Basic content management systems knowledge (Webflow, Pardot)
Social media management tools for event promotion
Project management tools (Monday.com)
Experience with event analytics and reporting tools
