About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up in the Data and Analytics Team. In the role, the successful candidate will:

The role will focus on leading data quality improvement initiatives within Davy that delivers value to the business and key stakeholders.

Critical focus is needed on developing and embedding a data quality framework including standards, procedures, targets, root cause analysis of gaps, developing remediation plans as well as leading outcome oriented cross-functional working groups.

Support an enterprise-wide programme to transform data practices ensuring data is trustworthy and can be used effectively to deliver stakeholder value.

Create data quality standards and procedures in line with policies, implementing monitoring solutions to ensure organisational adherence

Working closely with business, operations and technology, identify and lead initiatives for sustainable and measurable data quality improvements across people, process and technology

Concisely communicate impacts, outcomes and benefits when proposing resolutions to business needs to support the prioritisation decision-making process

Develop and produce high quality MI reporting progress and KPI’s

Requirements

About you:

10+ years’ experience in a data quality improvement environment

Deep knowledge and understanding of the data quality challenges and opportunities organisations face and approaches to sustainably addressing these

Experience and understanding of the BCBS 239 principles and the practical application of them

Demonstrated competence and understanding of concepts pertaining to Data Policies, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Models, Data Quality Frameworks, Data Literacy, Metadata Management

Strong experience in leading outcome focused change delivered in an agile manner with cross-organisation collaboration

Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work and lead independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines

A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with data systems and tools is an advantage, e.g. SQL. Snowflake, Power BI, Salesforce

Experience in using AI powered solutions to manage data quality is a distinct advantge
