Lawn & Maintenance Staff

StoneWind Retreat is a resort located on 160 acres of mountain-top land with twelve buildings, including 8 yurts, a 2400sf office building, a workshop, and 2 modular homes. We are looking for a dependable and skilled lawn and maintenance person who takes pride in their work and understands that each day can be different.

The maintenance position is designed to help with all aspects of the daily care of the property. Tasks may include mowing, weed eating, exterior building repairs, routine interior maintenance, and fixing problems as they come up. Some days are planned and some are not. Being flexible is important.

The job involves operating a zero-turn lawn mower, a weed eater, and other equipment. Applicants must have their own vehicle to use on the property. Mileage is reimbursed. A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are required.

Work Environment

This is a rural, quiet property. Some work is outdoors, and some is indoors. Outdoor work may involve uneven ground and changing weather. We try to be reasonable about working conditions. You are unlikely to be outdoors in poor weather unless something needs immediate attention. When the weather is not ideal, there is usually indoor work that can be done.

Schedule is hourly per week, with an hourly rate based on skills and experience. If you are reliable, respectful, and willing to learn, we would be happy to hear from you.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
