What You’ll Do Day-To-Day:
Performs standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
Receives assistance and instructions on unusual or more complex features and possible solutions, as needed.
Ensures compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
May independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Works on special projects, as directed.
Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.
Utilizes existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering.
Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills.
Total Rewards Package:
Total Rewards Package
Salary: $70,000 - $91,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
