Responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process across all departments
Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs
Oversee job advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and external partners
Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular hiring reports and insights
Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing activities
Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and HR policies
Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies
Support onboarding, induction, and probation processes
Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives
Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HR systems administration
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Support learning and development initiatives and identify training needs
Manage HR reporting and provide insights to support business decisions
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Proven experience in a HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, or similar HR role
Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
Experience with writing job descriptions and reviewing competencies
Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience handling employee relations matters confidently and professionally
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent) is desirable
Desirable:
Experience with Bamboo HR
Knowledge and experience of pre employment vetting and verification checks at BPSS level
Strong understanding of IR35 legislation and its implications for hiring contractors and managing off-payroll working rules.
Experience developing recruitment strategies and talent pipelines
Understanding of employer branding and candidate attraction methods
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing platforms
Experience in developing an EVP
Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*
