About the RoleThe Business Development Manager will be a key driver of growth for JLL Technologies, focusing on generating new leads, securing client meetings, and building a strong pipeline of opportunities across Australia and South East Asia. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual with a passion for technology and a deep understanding of the corporate real estate landscape.

You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospective clients, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning JLL's suite of corporate real estate technology solutions, software, and platforms as the ideal solution. Working closely with sales leaders and account executives, you'll play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.

This role can be based out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting campaigns, networking, industry events, and leveraging internal JLL business lines

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform targeted business development strategies

Secure and lead introductory meetings with key decision-makers, including Heads of Corporate Real Estate, C-suite executives, and IT leaders

Facilitate discovery calls to understand client pain points and identify opportunities where JLL's technology solutions can add value

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and targeted campaigns

Foster strong relationships across JLL functions and business lines to ensure seamless client engagement and maximise cross-selling opportunities

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to inform strategic decision-making

Key Skills & Requirements

Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within technology sectors

Strong sales acumen with exceptional communication and presentation skills

Outstanding networking and relationship-building capabilities

Proficient in CRM software and sales tools

Genuine passion for technology and its application in transforming the real estate industry

Self-motivated, high-energy, and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed

Understanding of commercial and corporate real estate, including facilities management and workplace solutions (desirable but not essential)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field (preferred but not essential)
