About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and customer-focused Rentals Account Manager to join our Port Melbourne team.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is responsible for driving growth within the short-term rental market by sourcing new business opportunities, managing customer accounts, and delivering tailored communications and two-way radio solutions to clients across Victoria.

This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Develop and grow the two-way radio and telecommunications rental business across Victoria

Identify and secure new business opportunities within targeted industries and markets

Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders across multiple levels of client organisations

Understand customer requirements and provide tailored rental solutions and service offerings

Prepare accurate and timely quotations aligned with customer expectations

Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to successful close

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business through proactive follow-up and account management

Collaborate closely with operational, administrative, and technical teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes

Support resolution of customer issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will have

Previous experience in a sales or account management role

Strong business development and relationship management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

A proactive and results-driven approach

The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams

Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience within telecommunications, two-way radio, rentals, or managed services environments will be highly regarded

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
