We are expanding our Project Management capability within our Bridges, Aviation and Roads (BAR) team in Perth, Western Australia and welcome interest from Project Managers with Main Roads experience.
The opportunity
As part of a dynamic team, you will lead the delivery of transport and civil projects, provide support to our project teams, and contribute to building WSP’s capability and reputation across Western Australia.
In this role, you will:
Contribute to or lead the successful delivery of transport and infrastructure projects
Support project planning, scope development, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance
Work collaboratively with designers, engineers, clients, contractors and stakeholders
Assist with technical reviews, project documentation and report preparation
Champion project governance, safety, sustainability and delivery best‑practice
Engage with clients to understand needs and develop value‑driven solutions
Contribute to proposals, bids or pursuits
Build capability—your own and others through mentoring (for senior applicants)
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally
About you
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Professional project management experience, ideally with PMP certification.
At least 10 years of experience managing multidisciplinary road and bridge projects through design development and/or construction stages.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in forecasting, estimating, and cost management.
Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
