About The Job:
As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
Process all accounts payable information
Assist with reconciliations.
Ensure all cheque disbursements are prepared & issued on a timely basis.
Review and reconcile all inter-company Payables/Receivables.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Deal with supplier inquiries on a timely basis.
Assist Senior Accountants.
File and other administrative duties as required.
About You:
Degree/diploma in Business/Accounting or equivalent working experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & an accounting software application (Great Plains preferred).
Experience working in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to prioritize, multi-task and self-motivate.
