The Role
As a Center Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a Mathnasium learning center. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends sales, customer experience, team development, and business management. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, creating an exceptional experience for families, and driving enrollment and retention.
This role is ideal for a motivated leader who enjoys owning results, developing people, and making a meaningful impact in their community.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Enrollment Growth: Execute local sales and marketing strategies to attract new families and grow enrollment
Customer Experience: Build strong relationships with parents and students, ensuring a positive, high-quality experience
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and develop instructors and support staff
Center Operations: Own daily operations, scheduling, and execution of Mathnasium systems and standards
Performance Management: Track key metrics, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve center goals
Success in this role means building momentum, developing a confident and capable team, and operating a center that consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1–2 years in business management, consultative sales, education, or a customer-focused leadership role
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Leadership Skills: Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to lead and motivate a team
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
Organization: Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and execute consistently
Mindset: Results-driven, coachable, and growth-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
Technical Skills: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google applications
Schedule Flexibility: As an after school program, we work with children outside of their school hours. This includes regular evenings and weekends. A standard schedule is 11:00AM-7:30PM Mon-Thur and Saturdays 10:00AM - 2:00PM.
