Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Sales Manager to lead our Public Sector sales efforts, focusing on Education, Municipal, and Human Services markets. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving growth through innovative sales strategies. Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting public sector clients in education, municipal agencies, and human services organizations.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders through proactive communication and tailored solutions.
Lead business development initiatives to identify new market opportunities and the company's presence in the public sector.
Utilize CRM tools such as Zendesk to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze market trends.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance brand awareness within the public sector.
Provide leadership and mentorship to sales team members, fostering a high-performance environment focused on results.
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales, management, or business development within B2B environments, preferably in technology or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and decision-making structures.
Demonstrated success in negotiating complex deals and closing high-value contracts.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret market data and customer needs effectively.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.

Work schedule is hybrid, Monday - Thursday in the office and Friday remote.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
