Job Description

We are embarking on a significant transformation across our Merchandise team and are expanding our team as we invest for growth.

As part of this, we are recruiting for multiple Category Manager roles, offering the opportunity to shape and lead key product portfolios within a fast-evolving environment. Some roles will carry enterprise-wide accountability for Bapcor category leadership, setting direction and driving performance across the Group.

About the job

As Promotions Manager, you will lead the design and execution of a market-leading promotional program across our Trade business. You will be accountable for developing the promotional strategy, governance frameworks and annual calendar, ensuring all activity is commercially effective, disciplined and delivers measurable outcomes.

Working cross-functionally with Merchandise, Marketing, Supply Chain and Sales, you will drive end-to-end campaign performance — from planning and execution through to post-campaign analysis — ensuring promotional investment translates into sales growth, margin improvement and strong ROI.

What you’ll do

Define and embed the promotional strategy framework, including mechanics, discounting and governance standards

Own the promotional calendar, ensuring alignment to category objectives and commercial targets

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of promotional campaigns and catalogues

Partner with Category, Marketing and Demand Planning teams to deliver coordinated, high-impact activity

Develop multi-channel campaigns to drive sales and engage the store network

Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of promotional materials and campaign delivery

Analyse promotional performance, measuring ROI, sales uplift and margin outcomes

Provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve promotional effectiveness

Manage supplier funding, invoicing and relationships to support strong campaign outcomes

Act as the key communication point to the network on all promotional activity

Qualifications

Proven experience in promotions, trade planning or category analytics

Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical capability (e.g. sales uplift, ROI, margin impact)

Experience designing promotional frameworks, governance and campaign structures

Ability to lead and influence across cross-functional teams (Merchandise, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations)

Strong stakeholder management and project delivery capability in fast-paced environments

Confidence working with data to generate insights and inform decision-making

Experience in trade, retail or multi-brand environments (automotive highly regarded)
