A Snapshot

As the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead the country talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, workforce priorities, and broader people strategies. You will operate as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, providing expertise on talent market trends, workforce planning, and hiring strategies to enable organisational capability and long-term growth.

You will lead the end-to-end recruitment function for the country, balancing strategic direction with operational excellence to deliver high-quality, scalable, and data-driven hiring outcomes. Working cross-functionally with People & Culture, business leaders, and external partners, you will drive continuous improvement across recruitment practices, talent pipelines, employer branding, and candidate experience. As a people leader, you will develop and lead a high-performing recruitment team, fostering capability, innovation, accountability, and strong stakeholder partnership across the business.

Your Day to Day

Lead and execute the country talent acquisition strategy aligned to business hiring priorities, workforce plans, and organisational growth objectives

Partner with senior leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to shape hiring strategies, workforce capability plans, and talent outcomes across the business

Lead end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring consistent, efficient, and high-quality delivery across all hiring activity

Provide strategic market insights and talent intelligence to influence hiring decisions, organisational planning, and competitive positioning

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition strategy, market conditions, and hiring challenges

Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team, driving capability uplift, performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Oversee the development of diverse and sustainable talent pipelines for critical and future-focused roles

Use data, reporting, and workforce insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making and operational improvements

Drive operational excellence across recruitment governance, systems, processes, employer branding, and candidate experience

Manage external agency and vendor partnerships, ensuring effective delivery, commercial value, and alignment to business expectations

Ensure recruitment practices comply with local legislation, governance requirements, and inclusive hiring standards

Lead or contribute to cross-functional talent and transformation initiatives that enhance organisational capability and hiring effectiveness

Requirements

10–12+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, including leadership experience within complex, fast-paced, or high-growth environments

Proven ability to lead and scale talent acquisition functions and develop high performing recruitment teams

Strong strategic stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders

Demonstrated experience developing and executing workforce and hiring strategies aligned to business objectives

Strong commercial acumen and ability to solve complex organisational and talent challenges

Experience using market insights, workforce analytics, and data to drive hiring decisions and continuous improvement

Strong understanding of local talent markets, hiring trends, and workforce dynamics

Experience leading recruitment operations, governance, vendor management, and process optimisation initiatives

Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills

Experience with recruitment technologies and talent systems (e.g. Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR or similar)
