Reporting to the VP of US Sales, the Distribution Account Manager will drive sales revenue growth within an assigned region to both our distributor partners and end user accounts based on relationship and engagement; working toward adding value for our partners beyond the price for product. Will define appropriate markets, then create and implement corresponding business development plans to drive increased market share, revenue and total earnings for region and target accounts. Will work collaboratively with others to ensure product knowledge, production capabilities and professional skills are understood and achieved so as to be leveraged to ensure effective value propositions, marketing collateral, resources and product development are in alignment with customer needs and expectations. This individual will be based in the Dallas area and work from home with travel expected in the region.

Responsibilities:

Engage with distribution partners to gain mindshare and build up our ratio of their overall spend in viable products

Provide education of our products vs the competition and create value proposition to business partners and end users

Understand the needs of our distribution partners to ensure meeting/exceeding them through Quarterly Business Reviews

Understand and cultivate new growth opportunities and action plans alongside and within existing distribution network

Understand customer drivers, interface regularly with current end user facilities to increase pull-through for our products

Understand geographic market and product market gaps within the region and create new distributor/customer plan to fill

Drive growth funnel for ongoing and new opportunity projects and take ownership of customer forecast accuracy.

Work closely with both customer care and operations teams to ensure the premier customer experience

Qualifications:

5 + years technical sales experience; previous Filtration Technology sales experience is preferred, but not required

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience

Ability to travel +50% of the time – expectation is of this level of travel

Excellent communication and analytical skills required

Strong relationship building and organizational skills; ability to prioritise

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with certainty

Strong analytical skills with a keen sense of urgency

Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets

Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Previous Technical Sales, OEM, Distribution or MRO experience preferred
