About the role
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee banquet execution and support daily dining operations within our country club. This role is responsible for ensuring all events and service areas run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all banquet operations, ensuring event setups are completed accurately and ahead of schedule
Coordinate closely with the Banquet Event Sales Director to execute events according to client expectations and club standards
Supervise banquet staff during events, ensuring service is seamless and professional
Conduct pre-event inspections to confirm room setup, décor, equipment, and service readiness
Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues during events in real time
Create and manage all event signage, including menus, buffet labels, and bar signage, ensuring accuracy and consistency with event details and club standards
Prepare and manage all administrative components of banquet events, including:
Maintaining event boards with accurate and up-to-date information
Communicating event updates to all relevant departments in a timely manner
Support a la carte dining operations as needed, including:
Main dining service
Pool bar and outdoor service areas
Men’s grill
Step into operational roles when necessary to maintain service standards across all outlets
Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance oversight
Maintain a strong floor presence to ensure exceptional member and guest experiences
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or country club operations preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Experience with event planning tools and BEO management preferred
Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
