About the role

As a Customs Analyst I here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in supporting the compliance and efficiency of our customs and international trade operations. You will assist in managing import and export documentation, ensuring adherence to customs regulations, and facilitating smooth cross-border transactions.

You will report directly to our management team and you’ll work out of our Chihuahua, Mexico location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company’s ability to maintain compliance with customs laws and regulations, reduce risks related to import/export activities, and support the seamless movement of goods across international borders.

MUST HAVE

Experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, or related logistics roles.

Basic knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and trade compliance requirements.

Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulatory agencies.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.

Intermediate English proficiency

Knowledge of TSMX, Vastera, and i-Export software

Bachelor’s degree in international trade, logistics, supply chain, or related field is preferred.

Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Intelligrated (IGS) business to American Industrial Partners (“AIP”). At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the IGS business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.

Assist in preparing and reviewing import and export documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Support customs clearance processes and coordinate with customs brokers and regulatory agencies.

Help maintain accurate records of shipments, classifications, and licensing requirements.

Monitor changes in customs laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customs-related issues and support audit activities.

Assist in conducting internal assessments to identify areas for process improvement and compliance enhancement.
