Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, this role involves responsibilities for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
Develop mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring stability, capacity, and continuous improvement.
Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies
Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
Process development and optimization
Specialized technical support
Project management
Continuous improvement and productivity
Quality and safety
Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
Experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Typically requires 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.
Experience in mechanical assembly / electronics processes
Technical knowledge (intelligent torque tools, PLCs, liquid cooling, pneumatics, poka‑yoke, maintenance)
Advanced English.
