Skills
About the role
We're looking for a Graphic Designer to create packaging and merchandise designs for food and beverage brands at a vertically integrated CPG development firm. You will work directly on the visual output that goes on shelves, on products, and on branded merchandise for a range of emerging and established beverage and CPG brands.
This is a hands-on production role. You need to understand print specifications, packaging dielines, and how to design for physical products rather than just screens. If you have strong design fundamentals, experience in food and beverage or CPG packaging, and can move quickly between brand projects without losing quality, this role is a strong fit.
Why You'll Want to Join
You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)
Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy
Observance of Holidays per company guidelines
100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive
Work on real CPG brands from concept through production-ready files
Be part of a minority-owned firm with a strong mission and a growing client roster
What You'll Work On
Packaging Design
Design packaging for food and beverage products including labels, cans, bottles, boxes, and pouches
Work from brand briefs and develop concepts through to print-ready production files
Apply strong layout, typography, and hierarchy principles to packaging formats
Ensure all designs meet print specifications, dieline requirements, and production standards
Collaborate with the team on revisions and iteration through the client approval process
Merchandise Design
Design branded merchandise including apparel, accessories, promotional items, and retail-ready products
Adapt brand identities across a range of merchandise formats and substrates
Deliver production-ready files formatted for the relevant print or manufacturing process
Brand and Visual Support
Maintain visual consistency across all design deliverables for each brand
Support brand identity work including logos, color systems, and typography when needed
Organize and manage design files and assets in a clean, accessible system
What You Bring
Proven experience designing packaging for food, beverage, or CPG brands
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop
Understanding of print production, dielines, bleed, and packaging specifications
Experience designing for both packaging and merchandise formats
Strong eye for typography, layout, and brand-consistent design
Ability to manage multiple brand projects simultaneously and deliver clean, production-ready files
Organized file management habits and attention to detail
Nice to Have
Experience working with emerging or startup CPG brands
Familiarity with Figma for collaborative design workflows
Background in consumer goods, retail, or brand licensing
Experience designing for minority-owned or culturally driven brands
How to Apply
Please include:
Your updated resume
A portfolio link showing at least 4 to 6 examples of packaging and merchandise design work across more than one brand or product category
A short Loom video (1 to 2 minutes) introducing yourself, walking through one packaging project you are proud of, and describing how you approached the design from brief to production-ready file
Only candidates who submit both a portfolio and Loom video will be moved to the next step of the hiring process.
If you design for physical products, understand what it takes to get a package from concept to shelf, and want to work on a diverse range of CPG brands, this role gives you the creative scope and the direct client impact to do your best work.
