We’re partnering with a key client in the manufacturing and industrial sector, based in County Meath, Ireland who are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their finance function and support the next phase of the organisation’s growth.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for financial strategy, governance, and performance. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, combining strong technical expertise with commercial insight and a hands‑on approach.

What you'll be doing
Leading and developing the finance team, setting clear direction and standards
Owning the organisation’s financial strategy, planning, and performance management
Overseeing month‑end, year‑end, and statutory reporting processes
Providing accurate, timely financial insight to the executive team and board
Managing budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning
Ensuring strong financial controls, governance, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, advisors, banks, and other stakeholders
Supporting commercial decision‑making across operations, capital investment, and growth initiatives
Identifying and driving continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and reporting
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and governance expertise
Commercially astute with the ability to influence and challenge at senior level
Experience working in an operational, manufacturing, or industrial environment
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Hands‑on, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities
