About the role

Who We Are Looking For

State Street is seeking a Managing Director to serve as the Head of Regulatory and Industry Solutions Product Development within the Risk Analytics product suite. This role is responsible for defining and executing the global product development strategy for Regulatory and Industry Solutions, ensuring that analytics capabilities, technology modernization, and delivery outcomes support long-term business strategy, evolving regulatory requirements, and institutional client needs.

The role operates at a senior leadership level within the Product organization and partners closely with Product Management, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Commercial teams. The successful candidate will lead a globally distributed organization and play a critical role in shaping State Street’s risk analytics platforms in a complex, highly regulated, and client-driven environment.

Why This Role Is Important to Us

Regulatory and industry requirements are a primary driver of client demand, platform investment, and operating model change across State Street’s Risk Analytics business. As the firm continues to evolve truView as a strategic, multi-asset risk analytics platform, this role is critical to ensuring that regulatory interpretation, analytics design, and platform execution are tightly aligned within a single, coherent roadmap.

The Head of Regulatory and Industry Solutions Product Development plays a central role in translating global regulatory change—across market, liquidity, leverage, capital, and stress testing frameworks—into scalable truView capabilities that are configurable across jurisdictions, resilient under supervisory scrutiny, and support long-term client adoption. This role ensures that regulatory commitments are not delivered as isolated point solutions, but as integrated platform capabilities that strengthen truView’s architectural integrity, control posture, and commercial relevance.

By establishing clear ownership from regulatory interpretation through model development, validation, and production readiness, this position is foundational to maintaining client trust, meeting supervisory expectations, and enabling truView to scale efficiently as regulatory complexity and client expectations continue to increase.

Product Development Strategy & Regulatory Roadmap

Define and own the global product development strategy for Regulatory and Industry Solutions across Risk Analytics, spanning market, liquidity, leverage, capital, stress testing, and other regulatory risk solutions.

Translate global regulatory developments into a multi-year analytics roadmap with clear business, client, control, and compliance outcomes.

Act as executive design authority for scalable, configurable, and regulator-ready risk analytics platforms.

Serve as global product head with end-to-end accountability from regulatory interpretation through solution design, build, validation, and production readiness.

Investment Prioritization & Portfolio Governance

Govern prioritization, investment trade-offs, and delivery sequencing across concurrent global regulatory and risk initiatives.

Balance revenue growth, client retention, regulatory commitments, and risk posture within annual and multi-year planning horizons.

Partner with Finance, Product Management, and Technology leadership to provide disciplined financial stewardship across the risk analytics development portfolio.

Delivery Oversight, Controls & Model Governance

Provide senior oversight of complex product development and regulatory change programs, ensuring delivery against milestones, control requirements, and target-state architecture.

Drive modernization of risk analytics architecture, including data sourcing strategies, model scalability, automation, and API-based delivery.

Own first-line accountability for model risk, data risk, and regulatory compliance embedded within analytics solutions, aligned to enterprise ERM, MRM, and Data Governance frameworks.

Ensure solutions are audit-ready, operationally scalable, and consistent with supervisory expectations across jurisdictions.

Client, Market & Regulatory Engagement

Act as a trusted executive advisor to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory risk strategy, analytics capabilities, and operating model implications.

Represent Risk Analytics in senior client forums, product review boards, and regulatory discussions, including support for complex mandates and escalations.

Partner closely with Sales, Client Service, Operations, and Commercial leadership to ensure solutions are commercially viable and client-centric.

Organizational & People Leadership

Lead and develop a globally distributed Regulatory and Risk Analytics product development organization.

Set clear operating models and governance structures that reinforce accountability, regulatory rigor, and disciplined execution.

Champion a culture of client focus, scalable innovation, and strong risk and control mindset.

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in risk analytics, regulatory solutions, quantitative financial technology, or related domains within financial services.
