This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

Job Description:

Engaging Opening

As a valued member of our Enterprise Protect technology team, you will help protect the bank and its customers by operating as an experienced developer for the Oracle-based Customer Risk Rating (CRR) platform. You will build secure, scalable and resilient autosys job scheduling workflows, unix-based processing and automation that strengthen capabilities against money laundering and support ongoing bank regulatory compliance.

Department Overview

Purpose: Primary focus on development and enhancement initiatives to support enterprise-scale financial crime and risk management technology solutions leveraging Oracle Customer Risk Rating module that protect customers and support compliance, with production support engagement , including incident troubleshooting and system stabilization. This role has a strong emphasis on:

UNIX and SQL-driven data workflows

Act as a subject matter contributor in AutoSys and batch processing domains

People: You will work closely with solution designers, architects, developers, business and data analysts and infrastructure teams to support mission-critical applications that directly impact business operations. Contribute to a culture of: Innovation, Collaboration and Operational excellence

Presence: Provide a broad range of system and application development capabilities to support business needs for highly regulated, enterprise-scale systems that process large volumes of data through complex batch and real-time workflows through the design, development and batch workflows orchestration using Autosys enterprise scheduler e nsuring high availability, regulatory compliance, and operational stability. Share knowledge and support team capability through: Documentation and collaboration

What You’ll Do

Design and maintain AutoSys scheduling solutions for complex enterprise batch workflows

Develop and enhance applications using Unix/Linux shell scripting and SQL-based processing

Translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with architecture and SDLC standards

Build and manage job dependencies, workflows, and scheduling logic , ensuring reliable batch execution and SLA adherence

Perform unit, component and integration testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting to deliver stable, defect-free solutions and optimize performance

Identify and drive improvements in automation, efficiency, and system performance , while collaborating across teams and contributing as a subject matter expert in AutoSys and batch processing

Monitor batch execution, job performance and system health metrics

Support environment configuration, tuning, and performance optimization

Continuously enhance knowledge of:

Batch processing technologies

Emerging tools and automation capabilities

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Required

Undergraduate degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field

3-5+ years of experience in application/system development and batch processing environments

Strong hands-on expertise in: AutoSys job scheduling (development, monitoring, troubleshooting), UNIX, SQL and shell scripting

Proven experience in enterprise-scale batch processing environments with complex job dependencies

Strong proficiency in:

Unix/Linux and Shell scripting

SQL and database technologies

Solid understanding of: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Testing, debugging, and code quality practices

Ability to: Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution

Work independently on moderately complex tasks

Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

Preferred

Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability or regulatory-driven systems

Exposure to:

Production support and incident management frameworks

DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub)

Experience working in large financial institutions or regulated environments

Technology Environment

Oracle FCCM / CRR, DevOps / CI-CD, secure development practices, cloud and hybrid data platforms.
