Overview:
Automation lead(7 to 8yrs of Automation experience) responsibile for providing creating a framework based on the landscape of the applications, deeper understanding on open source technologies. he/she should be able to oversee automation testing activities across Web, API, and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. This role involves designing robust automation frameworks, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery in fast-paced agile environments
Lead and drive automation strategy and implementation across Web, API, and Mobile platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber (BDD).
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to automation best practices.
Analyze test results and report bugs using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Mentor junior automation engineers and support skill development.
Stay up to date with emerging test automation trends and tools.
Responsibilities:
7–8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for functional test automation.
Proficiency with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
Exposure to mobile automation using Appium or equivalent tools.
Solid understanding of Java
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage priorities and work independently or as part of a team
