About the role
Corporate Financial Analyst
FFUN Group | Corporate Finance / Treasury
Full-Time - Permanent
At FFUN Group, we’re not just growing — we’re building something bigger, faster, and more FFUN.
We’re looking for a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team and help support the financial engine behind one of Canada’s fastest-growing automotive and recreational groups.
This is not your typical “sit back and report the numbers” finance role. You’ll be hands-on with treasury, banking, liquidity reporting, acquisitions, forecasting, financial modelling, and corporate finance projects that support real business decisions across the group.
If you’re analytical, curious, highly organized, strong in Excel, and love turning numbers into clear, useful insights — we want to talk.
What you’ll be doing:
Prepare daily cash, floorplan, and liquidity reports across FFUN Group facilities, highlighting variances, availability, upcoming obligations, and required actions.
Support cash forecasting, short-term liquidity planning, banking analysis, and financing decisions with clear assumptions and practical recommendations.
Complete and support electronic transactions, including EFTs and wires, in line with approved controls and authorization requirements.
Assist with banking access, cheque signing authority, platform permissions, and treasury process documentation.
Support mergers and acquisitions through financial due diligence, normalization analysis, working capital review, debt and cash analysis, and transaction assumption tracking.
Assist with valuation support, financing analysis, integration planning, purchase price allocation inputs, and post-close performance tracking.
Prepare lender materials, leadership summaries, data room information, pro forma statements, variance analysis, trend reporting, and key metric dashboards.
Build and improve financial models that connect cash, debt, floorplan, working capital, profitability, and growth assumptions.
Investigate unusual trends or anomalies, validate source data, and clearly document assumptions, findings, and recommendations.
Support the corporate team with bank reconciliations, payables, consolidation processes, and accounting-related analysis where needed.
Use AI-enabled tools, and other approved platforms to improve reporting workflows, speed up analysis, and increase the quality of financial insights while protecting confidential information.
What were looking for:
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, banking, M&A support, transaction analysis, or multi-entity financial reporting.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Progress toward CPA, CFA, CBV, MBA designations would be considered an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant hands-on experience will also be considered
Experience preparing financial models, cash flow analysis, pro forma statements, variance analysis, lender reporting, or acquisition-related analysis.
Experience working with banking platforms, debt/floorplan reporting, or lender packages would be an asset.
Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools, Excel automation, Power Query, Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve analysis and reporting workflows.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including experience with pro forma statements, scenario analysis, variance analysis, and business case development.
Experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools would be considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
Ability to handle confidential acquisition, financing, banking, payroll, and corporate information with discretion.
