What will you do?

As a UX Designer / Product Designer at Aceve, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and modules are designed with the end user in mind. You will conduct user research, create design prototypes, and work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to optimize user flows and interactions.

Your role includes leading the development of user-friendly interfaces, establishing design processes, and contributing to the Aceve Design System. You will also support the team by sharing UX best practices, facilitating design workshops, and mentoring colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of UX principles, product design methodologies, and user research techniques. You should be passionate about delivering outstanding user experiences and continuously improving design practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance User Experience: Design and improve the UX of Aceve’s products, ensuring they are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with business goals.

Conduct User Research: Plan and execute research studies to understand user needs, analyze data, and present insights to stakeholders.

Prototype and Test Designs: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to validate concepts and gather user feedback.

Establish and Maintain Design Standards: Contribute to the Aceve Design System, ensuring consistency, scalability, and best practices in UI/UX.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align design solutions with user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

Advocate for UX and Product Thinking: Promote UX best practices and product thinking within the company through presentations, workshops, and mentorship.

Document and Present Work: Create UX documentation, design guidelines, and supporting materials for internal teams.

Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Keep track of emerging UX and product design methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve processes and solutions.

Key Skills and Competencies

Strong expertise in UX design principles, product design methodologies, and interaction design.

Solid understanding of user research techniques, usability testing, and user psychology.

Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

Ability to translate user insights and business requirements into effective design solutions.

Experience working with design systems, information architecture, and accessibility standards.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles is a plus.

Experience working in Agile or cross-functional product development environments.

Fluent in German (at least B2 - speaking) & English (speaking and writing).
