About the role
What you'll be doing::
We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Group Finance team within Procurement, based at our Glasgow HQ or Shoreditch office.
This is an entry‑level role designed for a high‑potential graduate who’s keen to build a career in commercial analysis, procurement, contracts or commercial governance.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders including the Commercial Director and Procurement Manager, supporting the day‑to‑day commercial operations of the business while gaining exposure to how commercial decisions are made at senior level.
The role combines hands‑on operational work with a strong development focus, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful initiatives early in your career.
Your day‑to‑day activities will include supporting contract and supplier management, maintaining accurate commercial records, analysing pricing and spend data, and ensuring strong commercial governance across the business. A core part of the role is helping us modernise how we work — identifying manual or error‑prone processes and supporting the introduction of automation, data improvements and AI‑enabled tools to increase efficiency and insight.
While the role will initially involve a solid administrative and operational foundation, it’s intentionally structured to offer a steep learning curve, wide exposure, and clear progression into future commercial, procurement or contract management roles.
We want to hear from you if you::
You’re a graduate (or soon‑to‑be graduate) with a strong interest in commercial analysis, procurement, contracts, finance or governance
You’re analytical, detail‑focused and comfortable working with data, documents and structured information
You enjoy improving processes and are curious about how technology, automation or AI can make work more efficient and accurate
You communicate clearly and professionally, particularly in writing
You’re organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, professional environment
You’re ambitious, keen to learn, and motivated to progress into a commercially accountable role
Any relevant internship, placement or work experience in a commercial, financial, legal or operational setting is a bonus — but not essential
What's in it for me?:
Up to £28,000 per annum DOE + benefits
Guaranteed salary uplift in year 2 & 3
