Role Overview
Nasuni is building a world-class Innovation Center in Hyderabad focused on distributed systems, cloud storage, and file data infrastructure.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to drive hiring for highly specialized engineering and product roles across Platform, Protocol, Search, Cloud, and Storage domains.
This role is for a recruiter who:
Understands data infrastructure and back-end software engineering environments.
Can evaluate and engage senior and principal engineers working in Python, C++, Golang, Linux, NAS, NFS, Kubernetes, Linux, and Samba ecosystems.
Thrives in complex, hard-to-fill technical software product searches, where you need to identify and source passive candidates.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven recruiting role requiring domain fluency and proactive sourcing capability. You will identify and directly source candidates for Nasuni's IIC Hyderabad office.
Level & Scope Definition
This role operates with high autonomy and full-cycle ownership across senior technical requisitions. This is a great role for a Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Partner, focused on Technical Software Engineering and Software Product domain, who thrives in a People Operations HR environment.
You will:
Own 8–15 concurrent highly technical roles.
Drive sourcing strategy for senior and principal-level engineers.
Partner and Advise hiring managers on talent pools, market data, and recruiting strategy.
Customize and improve interview process depending on the role.
Partner cross-functionally across US and India engineering leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting
Own end-to-end recruitment for senior infrastructure engineers across Platform, Protocol, Search, and Cloud domains, plus other roles as necessary.
Partner with engineering leaders to define hiring scope and technical calibration.
Manage candidate lifecycle, candidate scheduling, and pipeline activities within Greenhouse ATS.
Leveraging AI Tools, Workflows, and Skills within the recruitment process.
Deep Technical Sourcing
Build pipelines for engineers specializing in:
Python, C++, Golang, Java
Linux systems programming
Storage Protocols including; NAS, NFS, CIFS, Samba
Distributed systems and microservices
Cloud-native infrastructure
Source via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Naukri, open-source communities, Stack Overflow, Events, Conferences, Meetups, and niche infrastructure forums.
Domain Fluency & Technical Evaluation
The ideal candidate will be comfortable recruiting across Engineering, Product, and G&A roles. You must be experienced screening and ranking candidates for real-world ownership of:
Cloud Storage ecosystems including protocol, distributed systems, and microservices.
Linux, back-end, and/or systems-level development
Enterprise-scale distributed services supporting global customers
Differentiate between exposure and architecture-level execution.
AI-Enabled Recruiting & Process Optimization
Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate research, outreach personalization, and workflow automation.
Validate AI-generated insights before stakeholder presentation.
Identify automation opportunities within recruiting operations.
Stakeholder Partnership
Collaborate with Engineering Leaders (US & India), Director of TA, Talent Acquisition Peers, and People leadership.
Provide data-driven talent market insights and compensation calibration.
Employer Branding & Events
Support Hyderabad hiring events and technical community engagement.
Position Nasuni as an employer of choice within deep infrastructure talent networks.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in product-based SaaS or infrastructure companies.
Demonstrated success recruiting engineers in at least two of the following domains:
Linux systems
Distributed systems
Cloud storage platforms
Experience hiring engineers using Python, C++, Java, or Golang.
Advanced sourcing capability across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and open-source communities.
Experience using enterprise ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred).
Practical experience leveraging AI tools to enhance sourcing, screening, or recruiting workflow efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior recruiting experience in Cloud Storage, Networking, Infrastructure Software, or Cybersecurity.
Experience supporting global hiring across US–India collaboration models.
Strong compensation calibration experience in Indian and US tech markets.
Network File Systems and Storage Protocol recruiting experience, or similar data infrastructure environments.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience hiring Principal Engineers or Engineering Managers in storage or protocol-heavy environments.
Built infrastructure engineering pipelines from zero in a new site or expansion center.
Designed recruiting automation or AI-assisted sourcing workflows.
Experience Guidelines
5 to 8+ years total recruiting experience.
3 to 5+ years recruiting technical infrastructure roles.
Experience hiring for senior and principal level (8–15+ years engineering experience) roles strongly preferred.
