About the role
Peraton is hiring a skilled Systems Engineer (SE) to support the Defense Special Missile and Aerospace Center (DEFSMAC) program. DEFSMAC requires a Senior Systems Engineer to provide expert technical guidance and drive requirements gathering for a high-availability geo-visualization platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with government Program Directors, power users and cross-functional teams to understand operational needs, define system specifications, and recommend scalable, reliable solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing current geo-visualization capabilities, understanding technical architecture, evaluating current application limitations, and ensuring future designs align with performance, availability, and security
