About the role

What’s the role?

We’re seeking a high-performing Operations & Waste Services Manager to lead multi-site delivery for a key national account.

This role blends operational leadership with sustainability expertise — overseeing site performance while driving compliant, efficient, and innovative waste services. You’ll ensure EPA and regulatory compliance, manage contractor performance, conduct audits, and turn data into actionable insights that improve safety, cost, and service outcomes.

You’ll own day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring delivery against budgets, SLAs, and contractual obligations, while building strong client relationships and driving consistent service standards. You’ll also support commercial performance, identifying efficiencies and contributing to growth opportunities across the account.

A strong safety mindset is critical — you’ll actively champion HSE standards, lead risk management, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence and sustainability impact.

To be considered, you must be:

Proven in multi-site operational leadership within a B2B or outsourced environment

Experienced in waste, sustainability, or environmental services, with strong compliance knowledge (EPA or similar)

Confident managing contractors, performance, and service delivery outcomes

Commercially capable, with exposure to budgets, forecasting, and P&L

A strong communicator who can influence and build trusted client relationships

Experienced leading remote teams, driving engagement and accountability

Results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation

Highly organised, able to prioritise and deliver in a dynamic environment

Safety-focused, with a proactive approach to risk and compliance

Qualified in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
