The opportunity

We're currently looking for a Delivery Coordinator. Someone to join our Operations team. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn't mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.

This position is located at Cologne, Germany. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

The responsibilities

In this role, you'll be expected to coordinate order-to delivery processes. Working as a member of the Operations team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring order with vehicles are reaching the right location. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:

Coordinate a selection of standard handover locations with the goal of reaching 4 KPIs: Total handovers, Customer Satisfaction, Time to Handover & Handover Booking Behavior

Logistic monitoring & steering with central team

Stock reporting

Collaboration with CX departments on extras, customer support and function as key interface between handover centers and PSDE departments

Case handling for delivery communication

Support of Order Management team, e.g. with order matching, order changes, vehicle releases

The ideal candidate

In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible. You are also flexible and agile individual who thrives working in fast-paced and dynamic environment and who has a can-do attitude.

In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business education, logistics or similar background

1-3 Previous work experience in the automotive industry or similar field helpful

Strong MS Office skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in German and English)

Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
