The opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team in Norway. We are aiming to strengthen our already strong Polestar’s brand presence and customer engagement across digital and social channels. Within this role you need passion for electric mobility, interest in technology, performance drive and a desire to create the change we know is needed towards a more sustainable future.
You’ll be part of a specialized strong team, and the role will focus on supporting Polestar’s marketing activities locally, ensuring our brand visibility and strengthen our customer communication – making sure they are aligned with global strategies while tailored for the Norwegian market.
This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Oslo, Norway. One of our core behaviors is collaboration and we therefore have and want to continue with a strong office presence. At the same time, we open for flexibility when needed. We aim to hire as soon as possible.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll manage and optimize digital and social channels, ensuring relevant, engaging, and high-performing content. You’ll work closely with local and global teams to drive customer communication and support brand activities across Norway.
Your key responsibilities include:
Plan, create, adapt, and publish content across owned channels.
Such as the website, social media, newsletters, CRM, and community platforms.
Manage and grow Polestar’s community by engaging with followers.
Responding to comments and messages and fostering meaningful dialogue.
Plan and host community activations in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team and partners.
Monitor, analyze, and report on content and community performance using metrics
Such as engagement, reach, growth, and sentiment.
Ensure all content aligns with Polestar’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and compliance standards.
Support product launches, campaigns, and activations with relevant content formats, including copy, visuals, and video briefs.
Continuously optimize content strategies based on performance insights, audience behavior, and emerging trends.
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, you’ll need tenacity, flexibility, and curiosity. You take initiative, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you’ll work closely with both local and global teams.
You’ll also bring:
A degree in marketing, communications or a similar field.
1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media, community management, or digital marketing.
Good writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for different digital platforms.
Strong attention to detail, with a structured and organized way of working.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Experience with CMS platforms, social media management tools, email marketing, and basic CRM systems is seen as advantageous as well as proven experience of having good analytical skills and familiarity with content and social performance metrics.
Understanding community management and moderation, to drive customer engagement.
