This Role

As an Events Marketing Manager at Adyen, you will be a pipeline-driven, highly collaborative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. You will own the strategy and execution of both industry and owned events, delivering high-impact programs.

The ideal candidate is a 360° marketer with a proven track record of achieving revenue goals through integrated event strategies. You bring strong stakeholder management skills and are experienced in collaborating across teams like Sales, BDR, and Partnerships to deliver results.

What you’ll do:

Own the strategy, planning, execution, and performance of industry and owned events, aligning programs to North American go-to-market priorities and customer acquisition goals.

Develop and execute integrated event strategies, including pre- and post-event campaigns, leveraging ABM approaches, targeted audience development, and coordinated outreach across channels.

Maintain a strong understanding of target industries and customer needs to ensure event messaging and positioning resonate with key audiences.

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, BDR, Partnerships, and Marketing to ensure events are tightly aligned with pipeline generation, account engagement, and revenue objectives.

Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact event experiences managing internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless, on-brand delivery.

Contribute to creation of the North American annual plan through identification of the right mix of event formats (third-party, hosted, executive, and field events…) to effectively engage target segments and industries.

Track, analyze, and optimize event performance using pipeline contribution, ROI, and attendee insights; translate learnings into scalable improvements across programs.

Commercial impact & optimization

Focused on pipeline, acquisition, and revenue outcomes from events

Uses data to evaluate performance and inform decisions

Tracks ROI, pipeline contribution, and engagement quality

Continuously iterates formats and execution based on results

Stakeholder management & alignment

Strong cross-functional partner to Sales, BDR, Partnerships, and Marketing

Aligns stakeholders around shared objectives and execution plans

Communicates clearly and directly; explains rationale behind decisions

Operates effectively across teams, regions, and competing priorities

Creative thinking & experimentation

Brings fresh thinking to event formats and attendee engagement

Tests and iterates new concepts to improve impact

Raises bar on event experience while staying commercially grounded

Translates business goals into clear, differentiated event concepts

Who you are:

7+ years of experience in event marketing, with required experience in B2B marketing environments.

Proven expertise in integrated event marketing across a range of formats, including third-party, hosted, and executive experiences.

Track record of delivering high-impact events that achieve defined business objectives, including pipeline and revenue goals.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, navigating ambiguity, and driving results through cross-functional collaboration.

Equally strategic and hands-on; you can develop a plan, execute it, and continuously optimize based on performance.

Experiment-driven and creative in your approach. You bring fresh ideas to event formats, test new concepts, and iterate quickly to improve outcomes.

Collaborative team player with a low-ego, high-accountability mindset who values shared success.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clear, compelling communicator across member-facing content, internal updates, and executive presentation

Ability to travel domestically and internationally 30%+
