About the role

As Anduril expands its partnerships in the Indo-Pacific, we are seeking a Taiwan-based Communications & Public Affairs Manager to support strategic engagements and communications efforts in Taiwan.

The role will provide in-country strategic communications and public affairs support to strengthen Anduril’s presence and partnerships in Taiwan. This role will advise on Taiwan’s political, regulatory, and media landscape while supporting message development, stakeholder engagement, and media strategy.

The consultant will work closely with Anduril’s Global Communications, Business Development, and Government Relations teams. The role will report to the Director, Communications Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on Taiwan-specific communications strategy and stakeholder positioning.

Localize and refine messaging, press materials, and executive briefings (Mandarin/English).

Build and maintain relationships with key Taiwan-based media and policy stakeholders.

Support proactive and reactive media engagement, including press inquiries and interviews.

Monitor relevant media coverage and provide strategic insights and sentiment analysis.

Prepare briefing materials for senior leadership engagements in Taiwan.

Support communications planning for executive visits, announcements, and industry events.

Identify and ideate on opportunities for Anduril to advance the dialogue around defense and technology in Taiwanese public discourse.

Identify reputational risks and provide rapid-response communications guidance as needed.

Qualifications

Ideally based in Taiwan with strong knowledge of Taiwan’s political, defense, and media landscape.

7+ years of experience in public affairs, strategic communications, or government advisory roles.

Experience in defense, national security, advanced technology, or related sectors.

Established media and stakeholder network in Taiwan.

Native or near-native Mandarin fluency and professional English proficiency.

Ability to operate effectively in sensitive national security contexts.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
