About the role
GAQ227R131
We are seeking a self-driven and strategic Senior Analyst to join our OTR Systems Transformation team in our newly formed Databricks Global Business Services organization. In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing across the full Order-to-Revenue tech stack, serving as the primary communication hub for system changes, and providing strategic recommendations on feature enhancements and risk mitigation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity through rigorous SQL-based validation, facilitating regular standup meetings with cross-functional teams, and proactively communicating system updates to business stakeholders across Deals Desk, RevOps, Billing Ops, and Revenue. Furthermore, you will assess risks, propose interim workarounds, and drive knowledge transfer through comprehensive documentation and training. This position requires close collaboration with our core OTR teams based in the U.S., as well as Engineering and IT teams, providing essential testing, communication, and strategic advisory support to enable scalable OTR operations at Databricks.
The impact you will have:
End-to-End Testing: Execute full-cycle UAT (SFDC CPQ → DBAR → NetSuite → Revenue Subledger) for system enhancements, new features, and commercialization initiatives.
Documentation: Translate Business Requirements (BRDs) into detailed user stories, test scripts (with pass/fail criteria), and execution timelines.
Technical Validation: Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, trace lineage, and identify anomalies in billing and revenue recognition
Defect Management: Document and track defects in JIRA, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with Engineering for timely resolutions.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead regular standups and syncs with Deals Desk, RevOps, Billing, and IT to align on requirements and system updates.
Proactive Reporting: Distribute weekly newsletters and status dashboards summarizing testing progress, system health, and bug resolutions.
Strategic Problem Solving: Assess business risks and propose tactical workarounds or system enhancements to support scalable operations.
Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and training materials (demos/documentation) to ensure successful user adoption.
Audit & SOX Compliance: Ensure all testing documentation meets Internal Audit standards; update Risk & Control Matrices (RCM) and SOX flowcharts as processes change.
Operational Support: Assist with month-end close by validating system outputs and performing complex reconciliations.
What we look for
8+ years of experience in Revenue/Business Operations, Financial Systems testing, or Consulting.
Strong SQL proficiency (complex queries/data validation).
Hands-on experience with NetSuite (preferred), Salesforce, and JIRA
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex reconciliations)
Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, usage-based billing, and ASC 606 principles.
Self-motivated leader capable of driving work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CIS, or Business Administration preferred
This role requires working in PST time zone, with US-based teams for deployments and month-end activities.
