About Us

Senior PsychCare provides collaborative behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Our multidisciplinary teams include Board-Certified Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers/Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. We focus on continuity of care - not triage - ensuring our patients receive comprehensive, and compassionate services to achieve their best quality of life.

What You’ll Do

Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments

to set/manage treatment plans

Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions

Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team

Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)

Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system

Qualifications

Licensed NP or PA in the state of Texas

Psychiatric/mental health experience required

Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred

Spanish bilingual is a plus

Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally
