Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asia Synthetic Prime Brokerage Execution Trader to support the growth of our APAC synthetic prime brokerage and delta one business. The role will focus on client order execution, client servicing, operational build-out, and platform scalability across Asia equity markets.

Key Responsibilities – Execution Trading & Market Coverage

Manage client orders across APAC equity markets including Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, China, Singapore, and India.

Manage order flagging with accuracy and understanding of firm inventory positions

Strong understanding in market rules and exchange requirements including short selling.

Monitor market liquidity, execution quality, market impact, and trading risk.

Coordinate pre-locate and stock borrow requirements supporting client short activity.

Manage the full trade lifecycle including execution, booking, allocations, confirmations, financing accruals, lifecycle events, and unwind activity.

Partner closely with Operations, Middle Office, Finance, Corporate Actions, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure accurate and scalable operational processes.

Monitor and resolve trade breaks, booking discrepancies, financing disputes, settlement issues, and lifecycle exceptions.

Support development of scalable operational controls supporting business growth and expansion into Asia EM markets and access.

Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements across execution, financing, booking, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.

Develop and maintain automated spreadsheets, execution monitoring tools, financing calculators, reconciliation dashboards, inventory tracking tools, and operational reporting frameworks.

Work closely with regional Technology teams across London, New York, and Asia to support workflow automation, system connectivity, global platform integration, reporting automation, and execution infrastructure enhancement.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong understanding of synthetic prime brokerage, equity swaps, delta one, securities lending, equity finance, APAC equity markets, and front-to-back trade lifecycle.

Min 5 years direct experience in managing Delta one execution in Asia markets.

Experience supporting hedge fund and institutional client activity across APAC markets

Strong proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, and SQL.

Ability to build scalable automation tools, reporting frameworks, and workflow solutions.

Strong analytical and data management capabilities.

Strong process-oriented mindset with focus on scalability and operational efficiency.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
